AVG ultimate

I have just purchased a code for AVG ultimate for a MAC air.  I already have AVG free installed.  Have downloaded the ultimate but the AVG dashboard is still the same.  Should the free version be deleted first or does the new download just override it??

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Please be informed that there is no paid version of AVG product available for MAC Operating system.
But using the AVG Ultimate you can manage the AVG Free version installed MAC Operating system from anyother Windows computer.

So the AVG that I have purchased is not suitable, even though it said it could be used on a Mac!!
