AVG Protection Free 2016 Won't Load at System Startup

Hi,

I need help. My AVG Protection won't load at system startup. Currently using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I have already used the AVG Remover Tool and reinstalled AVG Protection + AVG Zen, still it won't load at system startup. Here's the only entry in my startup tab in Task Manager:

That means I can't right-click>scan any file until I manually open AVG Protection.
I have to manually open the AVG Protection by double-clicking on the AVG Protection shortcut in my desktop. This is annoying because it opens the AVG Protection interface which I have to close down. I simply want AVG Protection to automatically load in the background at system startup. Is there any other way to fix this?

Hello Gelo,
Please be informed that the AVG program will automatically get loaded during the startup of the PC. You need not require to open the AVG program to initiate the scan. Once after the startup you can right click on a file and scan using the AVG program without any issues.
Please try to scan the files without loading the AVG program and let us know if you are facing any issue.
Thank you.

Hi Kishore,

I have just restarted my system and when I right-click on a file and click Scan with AVG, nothing happens.

Here's a screenshot showing the Scan with AVG option in right-click menu (just after system boot up):

Here's a screenshot of my system tray showing no AVG icon:

Here are all the AVG processes I believe are running right after system start up:

When I open the file location of the item in Startup tab of Task Manager, here's the actual file it opens:

Are you aware of any other troubleshooting steps I can do? Because I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the AVG Protection thru Control Panel & AVG Remover Tool but that didn't fix it.

Hi Aravindh,

I'm just using the AVG free. No need to bother I'm going to uninstall AVG Protection Free now. It just detected Java, Adobe, Steam, Battle.net & Microsoft Office apps as false viruses. It even detected AVG_Remover.exe as virus. Oh well... so sad.

Thanks!
