Installation failed error code 0xC0070643

I have tried numerous times to install AVG 2015 Antivirus Free version on my Dell Laptop with Win 7 Home Premium OS and it takes about 15 - 20 minutes each time and then it gives me an Installation Fail message with "Error Code 0xC0070643   Description: Event exec_finished".  I have Norton 360 software loaded as my Antivirus/Firewall main application to protect me and also have a free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware that I run at numerous times to catch Malware that Norton may not pick up on.  Is there a compatibility error or might there be another answer to why I am receiving this error message all the time?  Thank you for any help you can provide me.

Allan, AntiVirus conflicts.. If you want to use AVG download & use the Norton removal tool (https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/home/current/solutions/kb20080710133834EN_EndUserProfile_en_us).

Mostly this error is occur due to anyother Antivirus program or previously installed AVG on your system.
We kindly request you to please uninstall all other Antivirus program and try to install AVG free, so that we assure that your issue will get resolved.

Thank you for your input.  Had a feeling that there was a conflict with my Norton 360.  Will keep running Norton and skip the AVG installation.   Used AVG several years back when I was running Windows 98 and had no problems at that time.  Guess everything has become a little bit more sophisticated and proprietary.
