Lorraine Parker old version of avg i can't seem to remove
I was trying to download a newer version of AVG Free, so I tried to remove/uninstall the older version 8.0 and keep getting this message. I've tried downloading the new version and it won't because of this problem and that gives me another error message. The old one gives me this message below can anyone help?

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. To resolve the issue, I request you to remove AVG traces using remover tool( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ). Please restart to complete the uninstalling process. After restarting, Please go to the drive where you installed the remover tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually. And then I request you to install AVG Antivirus Free based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) .To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218
