Cannot download AVG Free

Getting Error code: Oxc007001d after many attempts to download AVG Free.....HELP! Have Windows XP!

Do you have Service Pack 3 installed for your Windows XP?

Dennis, AVG can be installed on Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10, both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. However, since Service Pack 3 was released only for Windows XP 32-bit, Windows XP 64-bit is not a supported operating system. If you are using Windows XP SP2, install a newer service pack to be able to install and use AVG.

I do not know if I have Service Pak # 3 installed.....how can I Find Out?

Please press Windows and pause break key on your keyboard.
You will get a window opened and in that you can find the information regarding the operating system.

My SYSTEM PROPERTIES are: Microsoft Windows XP, Professional, Version 2002, Service Pak 3. 
Computer: AMD Athlon (tm) Processor, 1.10 GHz, 640 MB of RAM! I did as instructed.....I uninstalled AVG Free! *** I still cannot install the newest version of AVG Free!!! I am still getting the ERROR Code: 
Oxc007001d!!!                                                Please Help Me.....Now I am left with NO ANTIVIRUS!!!

Thank you for providing your system information.
We request you to try using our AVG remover tool and install AVG free antivirus.
1) To download the AVG remover tool please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.
