Outlook 365: Email deleted outside Outlook reappears

I'm having an issue where email I delete outside of Outlook keep coming back, as long as outlook is open. If for example I use my gmail web interface to delete or even move an email, as soon as Outlook is open, that mail will reappear in my inbox. I can delete/move any number of items or times and as long as Outlook is open, the emails will be moved back to my inbox.

Now, you're probably thinking this is not an AVG issue, because it sure doesn't sound like one.

However, I had this issue before, and it started right after installing AVG. I tried for literally weeks to resolve the issue, to no avail. Eventually I reinstalled Windows, and the issue was resolved. I ran like this for several months and all was good in the world again.

Yesterday, I reinstalled AVG, since my subscription was ticking away and I wasn't using it. Immediately, the problem reappeared.

This is terribly frustrating, as you can imagine. It's bad enough having to deal with most emails once, but I can't shake the feeling I'm in a Bill Murray movie when they keep coming back again!

Any help would be appreciated, sysinfo enroute.

Thanks!
Mike

Hi there, uninstalling the Outlook addon seems to have resolved the issue. Disabling it wasn't sufficient.

Thanks for your help.
