AVG VPN and torrenting

I'm interested in getting AVG Secure VPN, but I think I read somewhere that it doesn't allow torrenting on Windows 7.  Can anyone confirm if this is the case?  If so, AVG VPN is no use to me.

AVG Secure VPN should work fine with torrents web sites.

You can change location and check if the particular torrent website works fine.

It's not the websites that are the issue.  It's whether the client such as uTorrent can connect to peers through this VPN.  The answer is, the torrent client will connect to some of the VPN servers, but not all.  So, it does seem to be a case of taking a bit of a chance, and hope that those servers that do allow torrent clients to connect don't disappear.
