ETC... Very very annoying.
There is an option for show popup offers for other AVG products that looks like unselecting it would do something, but No.
Other issue is when AVG updates the product, your settings get reverted to default. (exceptions you setup are cleared out.)
Please accept my apologies with regards to the AVG software not living up to your expectations. The "expiry pop up" status on AVG interface issue was fixed in the recently released 18.2 version. Please open your AVG Internet Security program > Menu > about and look for the version of your installed AVG Internet Security.

If you share the (screenshot) of a AVG popup, I will be able to provide a perfect solution.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Open AVG Antivirus/Internet Security interface.
Click on "Menu-->Settings-->General".
To the right, click on "Popups" and uncheck the box of "Show offers for other AVG products".
Click Ok.

No one likes these pop-ups and also AVG breaks GDPR Laws as they have not given users consent and opt-in. I have reported your company to ico dot org. You will recieve a legal email in the coming days!

Who enjoys spam? Pretty sure these was a study about pop ups in the 90s and how people HATE SPAM..................................................................

You can stop this campaign pop ups from AVG by following the below instructions:
Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > General > Privacy > uncheck both "show offers for our other products" and "show offers for 3rd party products".
That is Number One.
Number Two is that the post above about this company being GDPR compliant will be of little help to this company if they keep using false advertising.
What do I mean? My computer has had 262 problems of clutter for a very long time and I would bet a gold bar that a whole mess of other customers have 262 problems related to clutter and so we can easily prove that is absolutely false.
Either that, or the Net God is frowning upon AVG/Avast and is giving trouble to your program that is checking for clutter on all our computers; meaning your own computers are being manipulated by the Net God to make AVG/Avast look like a bad company.
False advertising has been frequently identified by courts in many nations around this planet as bad, bad, bad and has caused large fines and worse to be placed upon companies by very good and respectable judges.
Eventually, those same right we consumers have in the brick-and-mortar world will be extended to the Internet. There is no doubt that will happen. The first companies that figure that out and adjust their style appropriately will be the ones that regain the trust of us Net Citizens. Would be neat if this were one of those companies.
But some of us will help you along. This post is one bit of help.
We assure you that, AVG will never advertise falsely. The PC clutters found on your computer is the campaign for AVG TuneUp product which will explain that these can be cleared, if you get tuneup as they would affect your PC's performance.
If the number of clutters shown on your PC are incorrect, then we could work on it and make sure that the details appearing on our campaign popups are accurate.
We would like to know about Net God as we are unsure how it would affect our campaign popups or the information shown on it. It would help us if you provide an explanation for it.
Secondly, could you please confirm to me that you are stating that if AVG is indicating to the right of that orange triangle that I have 262 issues of "clutter" on my computer that number is accurate because this company has checked my computer? Thank you.
