I renewed my AVG Internet Security (Multi-Device) and Virus Removal Assurance on January 4, 2019, I received a confirmation e-mail that day stating that my Order No. is 16299641638. Today I received a message stating that my subscription had expired. Please advise.
We are here to help. You have an active subscription of AVG Internet Security Unlimited valid till January 4, 2020. It looks like the activation is not successfully synchronized in the program and hence you are facing this issue. Do you receive expiry messages in program's user interface or through e-mails? Share the screenshot of the same to assist you further. You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Thank you.

I don't understand the instructions. How do I implete this program!
Betty, do you receive the expiry notice via email or do you see it on the AVG program when you launch it? Did you login to AVG app using your AVG MyAccount email address and password which is mandatory to activate the new subscription?
Thanks for confirming. It could be possible that an expired license number is still synchronized with AVG app on your PC. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Open AVG Internet Security. Click My AVG > My Subscription. Click Logout and confirm it. You must now see an option to click 'Remove license number'. Click on it and confirm it too. Now click 'Login', enter your AVG MyAccount email address and password. Check the program expiry date, the new subscription must be activated now.
