AVG is telling me my privacy is not protected after I upgraded it.

My AVG VPN which was upgraded on the 30th of June is telling me “Your online privacy is not protected”! Please does it needs some activation?

Thank you for providing the screenshot Joe,
It seems your AVG Secure VPN is disabled which is why it says "your online privacy is not protected". Please open AVG Secure VPN and toggle the On/Off slider to enable your AVG Secure VPN.

Yes, you are correct.

Your browsing activity and your IP address will be masked. You will have a complete privacy against online attackers.

hello, I have the same issue. VPN says "privacy is not protected" while the VPB secure is connected...

We will check with it. Please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Create-screenshot of AVG Secure VPN interface where it is turned on but still shows as not Protected.
