Disable file scan on right click

When I right click on a large .exe file (200MB) Windows explorer freezes for 15-30 sec and in Task manager I see that during that time "AVG Scanning core module server part" is active consuming ~30% CPU time. Very annoying! It happens on .exe file with digital signature, downloaded from the internet.

Can scan on right click of a file be disabled?

Hi Andrei,
I will help you with the issue,
As I understand when you open a large  .exe file the internet explorer freezes.
Is that correct ? did you mean windows explorer or Internet Explorer ?
why do you have to open .exe file and windows explorer at the same time ?
Do you want to disable AVG from scanning  this file ?

And which AVG program have you installed in your computer,
Please let us know and we will solve the issue .
Thank you

Dear Hari,
Thanks for Your response. To Your questions:
1. To examine a large .exe file I use Windows explorer as I have clearly written, not Internet explorer. Internet explorer has nothing to do, forget it.
2. Actually I do not open the file, I just right mouse button click on it to check its properties and "AVG Scanning core module server part" is activated automatically, scan lasts for 15~30 sec wasting my time.
I want to disable scanning files on right mouse button click over a file.
3. AVG FREE version is 2015.0.6140, virus database 4419/10725, Windows 10 64 bit

Waiting for Your advice.
Andrei

Dear Avinash,
Thanks for the advice. I completed Your advice successfully uninstalling current AVG free version and installing the new one 2016.0.7134, virus database 4431/10732

No change concerning AVG automatically starting to scan .exe file on right click, see detailed description of the problem in above post.
Anything else?

Hello Andrei.
Thank you for trying out the suggestion and I appreciate your efforts. May I know what is the file size you are right clicking on? Usually AVG Resident shield check your files before you open them. Maybe the file size is big enough for AVG to scan it for up to 15-30 seconds.
