Have you tried changing the location in AVG Secure VPN program to check if you could connect to torrent?
Torrent websites will only work if AVG Secure VPN is connected to P2P locations.
So please change the location to any P2P server and check with the issue.
In case if the issue still persists then please let us know to help you further.
I have tried all the P2P locations. Stil have the same problem.

Our AVG Secure VPN Servers marked with P2P locations not blocking torrents so it might be from uTorrent side.
Our developer's team tested uTorrent today and it is working correctly with default settings in uTorrent. I recommend you to check the settings from uTorrent (specific port, portforwarding) and there is no option to set anything in AVG Secure VPN.
Stil having problems. What versen of utorrent ar you testing with, and what port are you using?

We have tested using the latest version of Uttorent and tried with multiple ports. We are able to access it with no issues.
It depends on the type of file you're uploading. For instance, Warez software and movies from legitimate websites.
