How do I stop AVG Tune Up from putting Google Update Helper to sleep?

I am running Windows 10 and Google Chrome. If it is idle for a little while, I open a new tab but nothing happens, I cannot go to any websites. The URL will appear, but the page is blank. If I exit Google Chrome, then launch it again, there is a pop-up in the lower right-hand corner tell me that AVG woke up Google Update Helper and will put it back to sleep. It seems when AVG puts Google Update Helper to sleep, then Google Chrome stops working.

Hi Robert.
We'll be glad to help. Could you let us know which version of AVG TuneUp is installed on your PC?

Robert, it seems that you have an older version of AVG PC Tune UP.

Can you send us the screenshot of your AVG PC Tune Up interface in order to verify the version?

Here you go. Also, after using Recovery Center to Undo Sleep settings, the problem seems to be gone.

Hi Bob,

Yes, it appears that you put the application in sleep mode. That's why you were unable to access it.

I'm glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.

I'd like to add an information that you are having the older version of AVG PC TuneUp. If you'd like, you can install the latest version of AVG PC TuneUp by referring this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=Install-TuneUp&supportType=home).

Feel free to contact us if you need any help.
