AVG Ultimate

Everytime I log on I find PASSWORD PROTECTION disabled and have no clue HOW that happens

Please let us know the version of AVG (Open AVG - Menu - About).
Also, clarify whether enabling it manually keeps it active after the restart.

Thanks Dinesh, the AVG version is 21.1.3164 (build 21.1.5968.643)
the same thing happened at BOOT this morning, AVG PASSWORD protection (AVG Ultimate) was again TURNED OFF!.
Daily I run the scan, AFTER updating the Virus Definitions. Everything is in SETTINGS ser up for AUTOMATIC updates, but these DO NOT appear to work either.
Neither does the automatic set up PROGRAM update factor work. So what gives at AVG tech HUH?

This has been happening to me also for about the last 6-9 months. I have to leave my computer on hibernate overnight. If I have to restart it then it comes back as Password protection turned off. I have turned it on manually each time and have checked and rechecked the settings. This is not good for a paid product. When my subscription expires I will not be getting this again.

We regret to hear and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
We'd like to inform that this password protection component disable issue has been identified as a bug and our developers are working on a fix.
Until then, we'd request to uninstall AVG using clear tool (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Uninstall-AVG-software-Clear-Remover) and install it again.
