Realtime Protection has crashed since updating to macOS Sierra
Since updating to macOS Sierra, Realtime Protection on my Macbook Pro is not working. It states: 'Realtime Protection has crashed. Unknown error has occurred.'. Is there any fix or anything I could do to solve this?

Hello Sam, We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not have an exact time frame for the next update. However, we are sure that it will be released very soon. Thank you.
I have the same problem with Realtime protection, also i cannot login to AVG Zen, and AVG Cleaner crash when starting. Update from AVG will be neccesary for these issues.
Hello Michal, We apologize for the inconvenience. We suggest you to wait for the next update from AVG and that will solve all the current issues you face with the AVG programs. Thank you for your understanding.
Same problem, no real time protection on my paid version of AVG. I must say, it is kind disappointing that this issue has been raised several times ever since the beta release (if I browse around on your fora), and that is still hasn't been resolved in any way.
Kind regards and good luck producing the next update!
@ Peter Wolfs Peter, Unfortunately AVG Technologies cannot guarantee functionality of their products on Beta versions of an operating system. They will fully support MacOS Sierra once the final version was released. AVG Guru
The point was not that a beta version of an OS has a guaranteed functionallity. The point was that a final version does not have full functionallity at the moment of its release a few days back. Especially since the bug was already reported in the beta version of that OS.
Hello Peter, We completely understand your concern. We request you to wait till the next update is released. Your patience is much appreciated. Our development team are working on it to get it fixed. Thank you for understanding. Feel free to contact us for any further assistance. Thank you.
