Complete uninstall of AVG products

Is it possible to uninstall every AVG product from a computer, the reason I ask is that I recently downloaded a trial of the latest AVG internet security application but it is not for me - and I would like to uninstall all the products - I have tried every conceivable method - uninstalled it using AVG uninstaller - didn't work - tried re-installing the product and then uninstalling it - didn't work - reinstalled it and used the AVG Remover Tool - that didn't work - it is now conflicting with my default anti virus and firewall - leaving the system vulnerable for attack - AVGUI.exe file remains stubbornly intact and keeps asking me to report it !!!!

For goodness sake are you trying to upset potential future customers or what ??? why make a software so damned hard to eradicate - what possibly be AVGs end game - I have scoured the internet looking for answers but appears that everyone has the same issue!!
