problems with activating avg secure vpn on android

I purchased VPN secure on my PC - and am trying to activate it on my android devices.  Went through the play store, and downloaded the app.  Acknowledges that I have already purchased it, but I cannot activate it. I have tried the "free trial", hoping that would convert to my paid subscription, but to luck there either.  Nothing seems to be obvious and I am just going round in circles. When I click on the "already purchased" link, a pop up asks for a voucher number.  Where would I get that, and is this the action I need to do to get my android devices to acknowledge my subscription.  I am logged in to my account.

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for reaching us with your concerns. Please be informed that AVG Secure VPN (1 year subscription) you paid for can be used only on Windows devices. If you would like to use AVG Secure VPN on your android device, you have to purchase it from Google play store.

How many android devices will I be able to add with this new subscription, or will I need to buy a separate subscription for each device?

Thanks for the response.  Will that one new subscription give me the ability to have it on multiple andriod devices ( ie, tablet and phone), or will I need to purchase a separate sub for each device?

Sorry for the delay in response, Wendy.

You can install the app on any no.of devices but you can have only one active connection at an instance.
