Anti Theft

Hello,
I have now successfully installed AVG Internet 'pro' on our mobiles.
I have also gone through the process of setting up Anti Theft.
When I log in to my.avg account, it shows our mobiles as having been registered for anti-theft.
However, I now have two problems.
I can't actually do anything???
When I try to activate any of the anti theft features I get a message telling me that AVG can't connect with my phone?
Also, in the tools section, when I try an put in our AVG pins, I keep getting an error message and the pins do not get saved?
Thanks,
Paul

So, I have to do all of this below????

Troubleshooting when AVG Account returns the No data about device available error in case of the Anti-Theft connection attempt
If AVG Account returns a No data about device available error when you try to send Anti-Theft commands to your mobile device, refer to the troubleshooting instructions in this article. To use these instructions, you need to have a direct access to your device.
After performing any of the following steps, you can try to connect to your device via AVG Account again:
Ensure that the internet connection on your device is enabled (via Wi-Fi or by using mobile data).
Ensure that you are logged into the correct AVG Account on your mobile device (if you have more than one AVG Account):
In AVG AntiVirus for Android, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner and select AVG Account.
Verify if the email address visible on the screen is the same email address as you used to log into your AVG Account in the browser to locate your device.
If it is not, log out from the account you are currently logged in on your device and log in using the correct address.
Disable Anti-Theft and enable it again.
In AVG AntiVirus for Android, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner and select Anti-Theft.
Tap a slider so that it changes from the On to the Off position, then tap it again.
Restart your device.
Clear Anti-Theft data:
These steps can differ depending on your Android system version and device model.
Log out from the AVG Account in your browser.
On your mobile device, go to Settings → Security → Device Administrators. Then tap AVG AntiVirus for Android and Deactivate to disable the permission.
Go to Settings → Apps on your mobile device and select Anti-Theft.
In the Storage section, tap the Clear data button.
Go back to Settings → Security → Device Administrators, tap AVG AntiVirus for Android and Activate to enable the permission back.
In AVG AntiVirus for Android, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner and select AVG Account.
Log into your AVG Account on your mobile device.
Log into your AVG Account in your browser.
