As I type there are now 50 alerts all saying the same thing. The Details are:

Email subject: Online Banking Verification
From: "Halifax:<heldes@halifxonline.co.uk>
To: -
Process:/Applications/Mail.app/Contents/MacOS/Mail

I am having the same issues! constant alerts, not carrying out scheduled scans etc. I have reinstalled, pressed repair AVG etc etc. I commented on here and got an email that you cannot answer from AVG! I feel it's deliberate. They want us to buy the paid version, that's the obvious explanation. I have had the paid version once and got a virus soon after installing, never again.

Hello Alex,
We will help you to resolve this issue.
Please disable AVG Antivirus on your mac computer. You will receive all the emails once you disable AVG Antivirus. Please go to your inbox and delete the emails received from the email address locked@access.net or heldes@halifxonline.co.uk.
Reboot your computer once and enable your AVG Antivirus.
Cheers,
Alok.
