M Dictus How to enable Betternet VPN
I have AVG internet protection version 17.9.3040
It just updated and now I am unable to use my betternet vpn (I have a paid subscription.
I found instructions for an older version internet protection, but my dashboard is different from that one and I cannot locate the place to allow it.

Thank you for reaching us with your concerns. Iunderstand this must be upsetting. If you need help to add the VPN application to AVG's exceptions list, please follow the steps provided http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields .
Please check if AVG firewall is configured with below recommended settings or not.
Open AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Network Profile and change it to Private.
Open AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Policies->System Rules and set all rules to "Enabled".
Make sure the above settings are applied and let us know if the issue persist.
