Hi, Updated to 18.6.3066 and now have a problem with "Host Unreachable" for Definitions updates. There used to be a list of AVG components for the previous versions that showed which needed internet access for updates, etc.

Anything similar for the current system?
Incidentally I had a problem with email programs working with this upgrade but this was solved by going in and removing all the ports under Troubleshooting.
We request you to configure the firewall settings on the latest version of AVG Internet Security and check with the process.

Well that's some hours of my time and some of my bandwidth that I'll never see again. The Remover couldn't see an AGV instalation that was running but I ran it anyway The cleaner seemed to do something. I then tried to run the AVG Free Installer a couple of times but it kept telling me that some necessary files weren't available on YOUR server, some garbage about resetting values and trying again. This all started because your Host was Unreachable, has your server been the problem all along??? You used to have an offline version of AVG Free Installer, is there still one available?
Victor, I really appreciate your effort in trying to resolve this issue. Yes, we still have offline installer for AVG Antivirus Free. Before that, please follow the below instruction: Please run the AVG Clear tool again, click NO (if it's ask you to reboot the computer in safe mode) > check the box "Uninstall AVG Zen" and click Uninstall. Reboot your computer once and try to install AVG Antivirus Free by using below offline installer: For Windows 64 bits computer: https://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x64_1818.exe For Windows 32 bits computer: https://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x86_1819.exe
If the issue still persists, please share a screenshot of the error message to proceed further. You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Regards, Alok.
After some more hours and bandwidth, I was able to install AVG using the Offline installer. The online installer, prior to this, seemed stuck in a loop and kept downloading up to 3/4 of the installation and restarting. I had to physically switch off the modem. It seems to have stopped now.
Good news and bad news, good news - the email system now allows emails through with port entries, bad news - the Host Unreachable error is still there after reinstallation and with firewalls turned off.:-
The two above show both Definitions and Program updates are Host Unreachable. The next screen cap show TCPView in the background showing connections with AVG components.
Is there a particular program to concentrate on that does the actual updating??

I don't have a Firewall component in AVG Free. Below is a screen shot of my components:-
I switch off my Firewall and try to update, it sits on DNS Resovling for a while and then shows Hostr Unreachable.
Any Info would be appreciated.

Are the Virus definitions downloaded through AVGSvc.exe because TCP View is showing some data being downloaded, over 12M up to now?
Console screen still shows Virus Definitions as out of date.
Thanks for any help
I've selected Restart and then a message comes up saying a program is trying to close AVG.
