VPN Netflix

Just installed AVG VPN and found out Netflix will not accept a connection to videos using this service. Is that correct? If so how do I get my money back for the subscription I just purchased today.

Hello Henry,
Yes, you may not be able to access the websites blocked or restricted by law when connected via Secure VPN. Some service providers also block VPN traffic, the major being Netflix. This is an issue on provider’s side and we cannot influence it.
You can visit https://support.avg.com/RefundForm and fill in the refund form to submit it. Upon successful submission, our refund team will initiate your request and get back to you via email.

We understand your concern, Thomas.
Unfortunately, certain streaming services has taken counter measures to block its users from accessing its content through Secure VPN servers. while we do continue to add new servers and IP addresses, they are quite fast to identify the same.
However, before proceding to raise a refund request, you can try connecting to the streaming servers in Secure VPN such as Gotham city, Miami, Wonderland to check if it helps. Thank you for your understanding in advance!

Find it rather disconcerning that over a year later AVG still haven't done anything to fix the fact that their VPN still doesn't work for Netflix. All 3 secure VPNs mentioned above don't help and it doesn't look like any others have been added to combat these 3 failings. Perhaps if there were premium VPNs that aren't accessable through the free 7 day trial you offer, Netflix wouldn't find it so easy to identify your servers? Seems pointless having purchased the AVG VPN now, another disappointment from Avast.

How about you Admins stop lying to the customers for once?

I have the ultimate package offered by you guys which includes VPN, we are already halfway through 2021 and it is still the same damn thing, your VPN Is useless and no streaming service can be accessed, your "streaming and p2p" ips are just a hoax...

why my vpn dont work on my laptop (win10) i just got this on amazon.com for 5 pc's and only one of my tablets runs it! And my laptop dont?  I tryed to codes the one that amazon shows and the one on my tablet in the multi-device subscription! I even uninstalled it and all my other firewall and vpn's form my laptop.I tryed just avg vpn with out the other apps installed whats going on? pic

26th of November 2022 and it still will not work with steaming services, Nord VPN works, express VPN works, hotspot shield VPN works, just not AVG VPN I highly doubt if this doesn't work it's actually hiding your VPN at all not worth buying AVG VPN is just plain crap...
