How to open ports

Hi all. It seems that the AVG firewall may be blocking some features on the Kongregate gaming site after the last update. I need to check if ports 5222 and 5229 are open, but AVG does not allow me to do this through the Windows Firewall settings, and I can't figure out how to do it directly through AVG. Any advice?

Thank you, but that didn't help. What I need to know is how to ensure that posts 5222 and 5229 are open.

Hello Kim,
Sorry for the delay in responding to you. Please try with the following steps Firewall > Cog wheel > Advanced settings > Expert mode > System services > Manage or add your own system rules > Add > set the rule per customer preference and save it.
