Spyware-same as virus or malware
I intend to download the AVG Antivirus Pro app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I have read thru the comments, & it looks like I'll also be downloading the AVG Cleaner as well. Before I do, I want to make sure I will be getting everything I need. I have reason to make sure my cell is protected from someone surreptitiously downloading Spyware on my cell. Are viruses & malware the same as Spyware? Further, I already have AVG Internet Protection, AVG Antivirus & AVG Ultimate downloaded on my PC. Since my cell syncs with my email accounts (Google, Yahoo & Outlook), will that cause a problem if I download the Android version of this app? Thank you in advance for your help. Cat Jackson
If you will install AVG Antivirus PRO on your android phone then your computer will be protected from all types of malware, AVG will block spyware application. Viruses and spyware are almost same, Spyware is a type of malware that is installed on a computer without your knowledge in order to collect the private information.
