Good Afternoon I purchased and have been using TuneUp 2013 for a couple of years and found it useful. Over the past few months I appeared to have lost all my System Restore Points, and despite each Windows Update creating a new Restore Point it doesn't register. Attempts to create a Restore Point manually, fail with error messages. Desperate to remedy this situation I viewed so called solutions on line, none of which worked UNTIL - I tried one recommended solution and that was to uninstall Tune Up. This I did, and after the programme removed my preferences from 'Turbo' etc., lo and behold, previous Restore Points (older than 5 days) became available AND I was able to to manually create a Restore Point. I am now very reluctant to re-install your product that I paid for if, as it seems, it is Tune Up which creates the problem. Is there anything you can suggest to make a re-installation safe and compatible with Windows Vista Restore manager.
Hi Dave, If you are running in Turbo mode ofcourse such features are not available, so those resources are available for you and not used by system. Thanks
A little confused here - you say 'so those resources are available for you' - but they are not (assuming you were referring to my System Restore issue).
Why does Tune Up's Turbo Mode prevent one from accessing and/or creating System Restore - an essential recovery tool, in my mind. Did I waste money on a facility which prevents System Restore from working?
It is not just System restore, whole reason for turbo mode it disable everything so computer is faster. I recommend use Turbo mode only if you need it. Thanks

Yes, System restore should be working as intended in normal mode.
Thanks
