How do I get back my Microsoft Restore Points after installing AVG PC Tuneup

I have Windows 7 Professional and ALL MY RESTORE POINTS FOR WINDOWS 7 HAVE DISAPPEARED!!  I was being VERY careful to configure AVG PC Tuneup because the last time I installed it I kept getting this error: "The Rescue Center has stopped working"... with no way to restore from your Rescue Center I went to Microsoft Restore and was HORRIFIED to discover that AVG PC Tuneup had REMOVED ALL MY RESTORE POINTS!!!  As a result I have had to spend TWO WEEKS installing an image disk backup... but since it was from a year and a half ago I have lost many things.  I have Carbonite backup and thought I was covered but I lost a presentation I have SPENT TWO MONTHS WORKING ON (it used non-standard files and was stored in its own folder so Carbonite didn't back it up)... all because I couldn't do a simple RESTORE (all Microsoft Restore Points were gone and when I turned to Rescue Center for help (Undo Changes) it just said "Rescue Center has stopped working"!

I was VERY careful in configuring AVG Tuneup this time, to avoid this, but when I just took a look to see my Microsoft Restore Points, they are once again GONE!  If I can't install AVG PC Tuneup without disabling the Rescue Centers takeover of Restore, then I'll be uninstalling and asking for my money back!  Hope someone can help as I really like the performance boost AVG PC Tuneup gives.
THANKS!

Using PC TuneUp is like paying for malware. Next time do some research, maybe start here: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2371155,00.asp

AVG is an unusual company: they only have one fairly good product, which is available for free. Every single one of their paying customers has been hoodwinked!

Hi Leroy,
Deleting of old restore points can be set/disabled in
Details of Clean up Windows and programs, Old restore points in Backup fies of Windows section.
Thanks
