Hello, I've recently started receiving an error message in regards to my product (owned since Jan) claiming that I have a License Error and that I need to re-enter a license in order for it to work again. However I own AVG Ulitmate which after re-checking the product states it doesn't require a license number. But because of this error message I can't even go into AVG to re-enter my log in details to attempt to override whatever is going on.

My father is also connected to the same AVG account and so far has had no issues with his own protection on his machine so i'm weary to mess around with stuff I don't fully understand if there's a chance it could mess up his protection too. 

I'm not very tech savvy but you guys have helped me in the past with synching up my Father's protection so I'm hopeful this can be resolved fairly quickly.

Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We would request you to run the AVG remover tool to remove AVG protection on the PC you are experiencing the issue and re install it.
To run remover tool, please visit http://www.avg.com/tools#tba2 and click on "AVG Remover" to download the remover tool and run it on your PC. It will ask you to select which product you would like to uninstall. Please select "AVG Protection" and follow the setup instructions to uninstall AVG.
After you run the remover tool successfully, please open AVG Zen, click on Protection component and click on Get it for free to download and install AVG Internet security.

Thank you for contacting us. Are you receiving the pop ups from AVG? May I know if you have installed any trial version of AVG on your PC? If you can, please share a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/createascreenshot ) of the pop ups you are receiving. Thank you.

Used removal tool, checked memory, PC cleanup, clean boot ... tried to reinstall trial, same thing. Error code 0xe001f94e ... I have AVG protection and web tuneup installed and working ... what next.

Try uninstalling all of your AVG software and then rebooting.
Next, if you are confident to venture into the Windows registry, try the following.

With AVG software completely uninstalled. Run the removal tool again:

Next, enter the Windows Registry.
Open RegEdit by typing RegEdit in the Run command line. Then find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/AVG
Delete the AVG folder. (Please make sure you only delete the AVG folder)

Reboot again and try installing your AVG software again, the latest install files are available here:

Please make sure you have your licence keys before reinstalling.

i have waiting to long to this bug to be fixed, i reported it a long time ago and still no fix, to shame i will need to use other programs for cleaning my junk space on my pc.

I am trying to update my sat nav which I have previously been abale to do however the process is now failing. The sat nav support seems to suggest that it is a problem with FTP access as opposed to HTTP.
Somewhere/somehow it would appear that my AVG Internet Security software is blocking access to FTP. Can anybody help, PLEASE

Hi, not quite sure how to do a screen shot but I am not sure how helpful it would be anyway. Basically I was asked to download a program (by the sat nav support team) that would carryout a map update onto my sat nav. That went ok. However, when it came to downloading the maps using this program it fails telling me that either I don't have an internet connection (which I clearly have otherwise the previous process wouldn't have worked), the firewall is blocking access or a particular server (which is the satnav suppliers server is not active (and which by all accounts is working). on contacting them, they tell me that the first process of downloading the software would have used HTTP but the map download uses FTP. This is my problem as I don't know where to look to change the FTP setting. As I said before, this process used to work but somehow it has got changed either accidentally or by some other process.

I've got a problem with my AVG AntiVirus Free 2015. A few days ago I noticed that although the AVG is on, all its components are inactive. Neither could I scan my computer, nor update the virus database. Moreover, I cannot even uninstall the software. I have tried many ways to do it - even used AVG Remover and AVG ResetAccess. Nothing works. As a result, I have my computer without any protection and cannot repair or uninstall my AVG. I'd be grateful if you could help me.

Tomasz, Try removing AVG by downloading & using the 32 or 64bit 2015 Remover (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities) [Scroll Down], whichever suits your system. If you're not sure about 32 or 64 bit on your system have a look @ this link (http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=140471#post_140471).

Can't find an answer to the following question anywhere else - does anyone know...? 
AVG PC TuneUp® 2015 1-year subscription  = currently £22.49
Is this annual fee for installation on one computer only, or would it be available to install on 2 computers?
(My PC and Laptop already both covered with AVG Internet Security programme = pay for 2 computers)

I have been round in circles so might as well try this platform.
My hard drive has died on me taking my 2 year avg internet security license with it. Have just purchased a new hard drive and want to download my 2 year avg internet security software. I have no download, no recollection of the license number, and another 8 months to go on my 2 year license. I want to download this license onto my new hard drive. Need AVG to help me out here.

I am trying AVG's free tune up trial, I have run the maintenance and it say's one hard disk heavily fragmented I have run fix, and it has used over 35GB's on my hard drive, I ran maintenance again 2 hours later and it said one hard disk heavily fragmented, why has it not fixed the hard drive on the first maintenance.

Do you have at least 15% free space? Also please make sure that there are no hight hard drive operations which may prevent it.
