Earlier, we sent email instruction to reinstall and activate AVG Secure VPN.
Did you follow those email steps?

I changed my VPN to London United Kingdom
but the British apps BBC iplayer and all4 will show me content but not play shows.
They arent seeing my location as United Kingdom.
i upgraded to AVG VPN to be able to do that.
Do I have to do something else?

We see that you have purchased AVG Secure VPN on 2/25/18 and it got expired on 2/25/19. We couldn't locate any active subscription under this email address.
Have you renewed it in February? Is there any chance that you have registered it under an alternate email address?

I have cancelled the automatic renewal for AVG Secure VPN trial (which is valid until 2018.11.9). The subscription will not renew and no money will be taken from your account.

I have bought a 1 year multi-device VPN subscription. I activated it with the licence key that was emailed to me. I also installed it on my mobile phone, and activated it with the same key, and it is activated on my wife's machine, so 3 devices in total. 

Now, on my PC (the first device), it tells me that I either have to start a free trial, or buy a licence, yet on the same module under the "my subscriptions" tab, it shows that I have the VPN, that it is installed, and it shows the licence number underneath.

Please help? How do I get my VPN working again?

Hello Philip,

We recommend you to activate it using your email address and password instead of license number.

Open AVG Secure VPN -> My AVG -> My Subscription -> Log out and remove license (if available) -> Log in -> enter your email address and password to activate it.

When sending an email from Office 365 Client on my PC to anyone I get this error,:my ISP has blacklisted the IP address my VPN (AVG Security) provides to keep away prying eyes.

ERROR: Task 'XXXXXX@bigpond.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC6F) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) email server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).  The server responded: 554 5.7.1 Connection refused - OB115. is blacklisted. If you believe this to be in error, please contact postmaster@bigpond.com'

I have redacted to not show my real email address except to show the ISP responsible for the blacklist error.


How can I resolve this issue/error without being forced to shut down the AVG VPN connection?.

This is a new connection on Windows 10. VPN turns on then says it is reconnecting then comes up with connection error.
I notice a number of clients with same problem, it would appear that you have not nailed the problem yet.
I have tried all the suggestions on this forum, I have also done what SUPPORT AVG suggested but they are no longer responding to my emails

It seems that you have received the email from the concern team with troubleshooting steps and you have also reverted to it.
We guess you are referring to the acknowledgement email that you received as soon as you submitted the request through our online form.
For automated emails from AVG, it would appear as 'noreply email' which means you will not be able to reply to it.
You can reply to the email only when you receive it from our customer care team.
Have you performed re-installation of AVG Secure VPN program as mentioned in the email?

I use AVG Secure VPN on my laptop, tablet and mobile telephone.
If I temporarily disconnect the VPN Ion any device I achieve download speeds >55 Mbps
When the VPN is active I achieve speeds < 22Mbps.
I accept that the use of the VPN will probably reduce the download speed but a reduction of 50% is surely not to be expected.
Any suggestions for remedies gratefully received

Using AVG Secure VPN, you may sometimes experience a slower internet connection. This is because VPN encrypts traffic and data before sending it to a server. This process may cause slower, but safer internet connection. This is the usual behavior. 

From the screenshots, we haven't found a major difference in the internet Speed (28.20 Mbps and 22.66 Mbps). 

Could you turn OFF AVG Secure VPN and test your net speed once? Attach the screenshot here to assist further.
