How to grant Full Disk Access to AVG Coordinator

In some cases, after installing AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus FREE, you may see a pop-up notification requesting permission for the AVG Coordinator component to access files upon rebooting your Mac. Follow the steps below to grant Full Disk Access to AVG Coordinator, and solve this issue:

  1. In the Apple menu, click the Apple icon, then select System Settings....
  2. Click Privacy & Security, then select Full Disk Access.
  3. Click +.
  4. Select your system disk, then select LibraryApplication SupportAVGHUBAVG CoordinatorOpen.
  5. If prompted, enter the password that you use when you start your Mac, and click Modify Settings.
  6. Ensure that the slider next to AVG Coordinator on the Full Disk Access page is ON.

AVG Coordinator has Full Disk Access now, and the pop-up notification stops appearing.
