Requesting a refund for an AVG product

This article contains instructions to request a refund for a purchased AVG product, and information about AVG refund policy.

To request a refund

  1. Go to the AVG refund request form.
  2. Select your product type.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request. If you need to provide an Order number and / or a License number, refer to the following articles for detailed instructions:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchased AVG product, contact us within 30 days of purchase to receive a full refund. This 30-day-money-back guarantee applies to AVG consumer products purchased using the following methods:

  • Online purchase via the AVG Store.
  • Purchase via an offer within another AVG product.
  • Purchase via Google Play.

AVG does not normally offer refunds for products if more than 30 days have passed since purchase. However, if you experience technical issues with a paid AVG product, you can contact AVG Support to resolve any problems via email, chat, or telephone. The 30-day-money-back guarantee does not apply to AVG products purchased using the methods below:
