Uninstalling AVG Driver Updater

To uninstall AVG Driver Updater from your PC, follow the steps below according to your version of Windows.

Instructions

  1. Right-click the Windows Start button and select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
  2. Ensure that Apps & features is selected in the left panel, then click AVG Driver Updater, and select Uninstall.
  3. If prompted for permissions by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes.
  4. When the AVG Driver Updater Uninstaller appears, click Uninstall.
    If you are uninstalling AVG Driver Updater version 2.x or lower, you will not see the AVG Driver Updater setup screen. Instead, wait while AVG Driver Updater is removed from your PC and skip the remaining steps in this article.
  5. Optionally tick the box next to Delete all backups and log files if you are not planning to reinstall AVG Driver Updater. If you intend to reinstall AVG Driver Updater in the future, we recommend keeping this box unticked so that the current driver backups and log files remain available to you.

    Click Uninstall to start the uninstallation of AVG Driver Updater.
  6. Wait while the uninstaller removes AVG Driver Updater from your PC.
  7. Once uninstallation is complete, click Done.

  2. Right-click AVG Driver Updater, then select Uninstall/Change from the drop-down menu.
