Backing Up and Restoring Customized Settings (AVG Business Antivirus)

 

AVG Business Antivirus allows you to back up your customized program settings and restore them if necessary (for example, if you reinstall or upgrade your operating system). To access these features, go to the Menu > Settings > General > Troubleshooting section of the client UI and scroll down to Back up your AVG settings.

To back up your customized settings:

1. Under Back up your AVG settings, click the Back Up Settings button
2. Select a location where the backup file will be saved, then click Save
3. Click Ok in the pop-up dialog once AVG confirms successful backup

To restore your customized settings:

1. Under Back up your AVG settings, click the Restore Settings button
2. Select the backup file you previously created, then click Open
3. Restart your device to apply the restored settings
