This article contains instructions on locating your AVG order number (sometimes called an Order ID or a reference ID number) if requested by AVG Support for troubleshooting or identification purposes.
Find your AVG order number
You can find your AVG order number in the order confirmation email that you received after completing the purchase. AVG has partnered with established eCommerce providers that manage online sales and distribution in certain regions. The exact location of the order number varies according to the distributor.
The sections below explain how to locate your AVG order number in order confirmation emails from different AVG order distributors:
AVG
- Locate the order confirmation you received after purchase from no.reply@avg.com (or avg.cs@digitalriver.com for older confirmation emails). Check your spam or junk folder if you cannot locate an order confirmation email.
- Search for Order Number in the body of the confirmation email.
PayPal
If your payment was processed by PayPal, you will receive an additional confirmation email from the email address linked to your PayPal account. If you did not receive a confirmation email from PayPal, you can contact PayPal directly to request one.
- Open the confirmation email you received from PayPal that is linked to your AVG purchase. Check your spam or junk folder if you cannot locate an order confirmation email.
- Find the order number for your purchase at the end of the email next to Invoice ID.
You can find your AVG order number in the AVG Account that is linked to the email address you provided during the subscription purchase.

- If you do not know the password for your AVG Account, you can reset it.
To retrieve your order number via your AVG Account:
- Sign in to your AVG Account using the link below:
- Click See your order history in the Order history tile.
- The order number for each payment is shown next to Order ID.
