Complaint about AVG antivirus

Hello,
I would like to share with you about AVG antivirus which is installed on my pc.(win 10 pro)
When I turn on my pc, first thing is to update the virus definitions in avg, make some scan, then start doing whatever.
Last week while reading something in the internet, suddenly a popup notice telling me that my antivirus is off, and also windows defender is off, first thing I pulled out the line plug. Then I clicked on the avg icon to turn it on but did not get any respond, avg interface did not even open. Had to reconnect to the net for some help, which said to open in the control panel where list of installed programs, right-click on avg, click change/repair, in moments I got a new unfamiliar avg interface, it said avg was repaired and to reboot the computer, which I did. After reboot, the new avg interface (whole new version) came up and started scanning the whole computer - nothing was found.
Now I started slowly to learn this new thing which has many settings, and what is more annoying its recomandation to install the avg pc-tuneup which I got rid-off more then two years ago.
Checked the security of my pc in the control panel, everything is ok.
When all this started, I did not download anything, had not in mind to update avg to a new version (althogh its free), I was happy with what I have.
I keep thinking that avg downloaded some new installation file not knowingly and installed itself not asking me, like a thief at night
So this post I send to avg as a complaint about this issue.

PS, for some moments I was afraid that a virus attacked the only one computer I have, and had in mind to restore the computer from the last backup I made a day before.
And another ps, I have the off-line installation file of the 'gone' avg antivirus. The new version has no off-line installation file.
And another thing - I do not want any gifts from you as noticed on the new interface, just want a simple antivirus program. Some friends sugest I have to throw away this AVG !
Impossible to attach some screenshots from the computer (which on other forums sites is possible)
Would like to have your answers - just not "Sorry for the inconvenience...."

Hi Mordechai,
We understand your concern and the AVG has release the new version as AVG 2017, If you have installed the free version we cannot able to get back to new version of AVG. To assist you better please confirm whether you are using AVG free or AVG Paid version.

Answer is not acceptable - the installed AVG was free and you have destroied it ! see attached screenshots the worst is # 3 which forces me to use more then just the antivirus. On finding a new antivirus I'm going to throgh away this junk. What this program has done is sneeking behind not asking any user's permition for update or any changes.
Just answer this: Is the remuval tool good for this junk ?AVG no useable interfaceThis was rather acceptable

Hello Mordechai,
We can understand your concern. From the screenshot you have provided, it seems that you have installed our AVG Antivirus free 2017 version. We need to inform you that, AVG Antivirus doesn't install without AVG Zen user interface. Please do not worry about the other program you can see in the AVG Zen window, there are not yet installed and they doesn't affect your PC.

Please be informed that they our legitimate business campaign popup to try our AVG feature once. After using that you have to purchase license for it. This campaign popups cannot be stopped as it is our only way for marketing our latest programs. We request our customers to ignore such popups if they arent interested to try it.

1. I have not INSTALLED any new version, you were sneeking behinde my back and without getting any permission from me (user\admin) updated this program.
2. Very soon AVG will be gone from my computer.

Ive been using AVG for 15+ years,Always the paid version. I had to up grade to new version this month. AVG Internet Security Unlimited 2017 would not install,it would get stuck at

73% and just hang. So tried tech support, all options there did nothing,still hung at 73,SO had their master? Techs connect remotely. I watched ,they did exact samething Ive done 20+

times already. It wouldn't install,stuck at 73,sigh,They tell me they will forward to developer and get back to me via email.FFS 70.00 not well spent on a program they cant even

install. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOLKS.

dear all, I've a similar problem, because the new version 2017 not worked like the 2016 version: the precedent version ask me a request for the action to be taken in case of detection, this was very very usefull!!! Why in new wersion this is not possible or not function well?
Anyone know the problem??

I just can not unsucribe.
AVG bolked option to unscribe.
It is so stresfull as AVG want to deduct next payment from my card.
I wish i can find responsible crook and pu him /her to jail for ever.
I will tell all my friends to keep away from AVG.
