Activate AVG Ultimate
These instructions apply if you purchased AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) or AVG Windows Ultimate.
To install and activate your AVG Ultimate subscription on Windows:
- Click the button below to download the latest version of AVG Internet Security from the official AVG website. Download AVG Internet Security
- Right-click the downloaded setup file
avg_internet_security_setup.exeand select Run as administrator from the context menu.
- To change the default setup language, choose your preferred language in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, click Install.
- After AVG Internet Security is installed, go to
☰Menu ▸ Enter activation code from the main application screen. - Enter your activation code (including hyphens), then click Enter.
- Click Activate & install to install and activate all the apps included in your AVG Ultimate subscription. You can untick any apps that you do not want to install now.
Your AVG Ultimate subscription is now active on your Windows PC.
These instructions apply if you purchased AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device).
To install and activate your AVG Ultimate subscription on Mac:
- Click the button below to download the latest version of AVG Internet Security from the official AVG website. Download AVG Internet Security
- Double-click the downloaded setup file
avg_mac_security_online.dmg. - Double-click the Install AVG AntiVirus icon.
- Click Allow.
- Review the AVG Privacy Policy, then click Continue.
- Click Continue to confirm that you have read the End User License Agreement, then click Agree to confirm that you accept the terms.
- Click Install to proceed with default installation, or click Change Install Location... if you want to make changes to the default setup. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- After AVG Internet Security is installed, go to
☰Menu ▸ My subscriptions from the main application screen. - Click Activate paid features.
- Enter your activation code (including hyphens), then click Activate.
- Click See my apps in the dialog that appears, ...or go to
