How can I cancel my AVG Premium Tech Support subscription?

If you have our Total Care AVG Premium Tech Support subscription, you can cancel the subscription via the AVG Account that is linked to the email address you provided during purchase.

To cancel a subscription via your AVG Account:

  1. Sign in to your AVG Account using the link below:
  2. Click Manage subscriptions on the My subscriptions tile.
  3. Under the subscription you want to cancel, click Unsubscribe.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation.

Your cancellation request is now submitted. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided at purchase. If you are unable to cancel the subscription using your AVG Account, contact AVG Support.

Canceling your subscription does not automatically generate a refund. This is because you can continue to use the subscription until it expires. For information about requesting a refund, refer to the How can I get a refund? section in this article.

What happens after I cancel my subscription?

AVG Premium Tech Support is sold as a continuous subscription. This means that your subscription renews at the end of each subscription period unless you manually cancel it before the next billing date.

When you cancel the subscription, the subscription status displayed in your AVG Account changes to Expiring, and the expiration date is shown. You can continue to use AVG Premium Tech Support until the expiration date. After this date, you will lose access to AVG Premium Tech Support.

Can I cancel my AVG Premium Tech Support subscription, but keep my AVG product subscription?

Yes. It is possible to cancel only your AVG Premium Tech Support subscription and keep any other AVG product subscriptions.

Can I keep my AVG Premium Tech Support subscription if I cancel an AVG product subscription?

Yes. If you decide to cancel an AVG product subscription, you can still use your AVG Premium Tech Support subscription for third-party product or device support.

How can I get a refund?

If you have not yet used your purchased AVG Premium Tech Support subscription, or if we could not successfully solve your problem within the first 30 days after purchase, you are eligible for a refund.
