Enter activation code
To activate AVG TuneUp using an activation code:
- Locate your activation code. This is included in your order confirmation email. For detailed instructions, refer to the following article:
- Double-click the AVG TuneUp icon on your Windows desktop to open the application.
For alternative options to open AVG TuneUp, refer to the following article:
- Go to Menu ▸ Enter activation code.
- Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens) into the text box, then click Enter.
- If more than one product is associated with your activation code, ensure the products you want to use are selected, then click Activate & install.
The products you selected are installed and activated automatically.

Sign in to AVG Account
To activate AVG TuneUp using your AVG Account:
- Double-click the AVG TuneUp icon on your Windows desktop to open the application. For alternative options to open AVG TuneUp, refer to the following article:
- Go to Menu ▸ Sign in.
- Enter the credentials for the AVG Account that contains your AVG TuneUp subscription, then click Sign in.
If you do not have an AVG Account, select the Create account tab to create a new AVG Account with the same email address that you used to purchase AVG TuneUp.
- If your AVG Account contains more valid subscriptions, ensure the products you want to use are selected, then click Activate & install.
The products you selected are installed and activated automatically.
Your AVG TuneUp subscription is now active. If activation is unsuccessful, refer to the Still need help? section in this article.

- Click Sign in in the top-right corner of the application screen.
- If you already have an AVG Account, select Sign in to existing account.
If you do not yet have an AVG Account, click Create account to create a new AVG Account with the same email address that you used to purchase AVG TuneUp. - Enter the credentials for the AVG Account that contains your AVG TuneUp subscription, then click Sign in.
