New guidelines from the Google Play Developer Policy Center

Due to recent changes in the Google Play Developer Policy Center, AVG AntiVirus for Android is no longer able to perform the following actions:

• Interpret the content of SMS messages
• Send SMS messages
• Access the call log

As a result, the following features have been removed from AVG AntiVirus for Android:

Boost Ram/Task Killer

Due to recent changes in the Google Play Developer Policy Center, AVG Antivirus for Android can no longer close the apps that are using your device memory to run background processes. Therefore, we have removed the Boost Ram feature within AVG Antivirus. This change was implemented when you updated to the app version 23.3.1.

Call Blocker

Due to the recent changes in the Google Play Developer Policy Center and Android policies, AVG is no longer able to access your call log. Therefore, the Call Blocker feature is no longer be available in AVG AntiVirus for Android.
