Activating AVG AntiTrack

AVG AntiTrack for Windows is a paid product that requires a subscription to use. After installing AVG AntiTrack, you may need to manually activate your subscription by entering a valid activation code. Additionally, if you started a free trial after installation, you need to reactivate your subscription after the free trial ends to continue using AVG AntiTrack.

AVG AntiTrack for Mac is a paid product that requires a subscription to use. After installing AVG AntiTrack, you may need to manually activate your subscription by entering a valid activation code.

This article assumes that the latest version of AVG AntiTrack is installed on your device. For instructions, refer to the following article:

Activate AVG AntiTrack

To activate an existing subscription directly after installation:

  1. If AVG AntiTrack is not already open, double-click the AVG AntiTrack icon on your Windows desktop to open the application.
  2. Select Already purchased?
  3. Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens), and click Continue.
  4. Click Done.

Your AVG AntiTrack subscription is now active.

You can check your subscription details via MenuSettingsMy subscription status.

  1. Click GoApplications in the menu bar, then double-click the AVG AntiTrack icon to open the application.
  2. Click Next to review the Welcome tutorial.
  3. When the Let's get started! screen appears, type or paste your activation code (including hyphens), and click Activate.
  4. Click OK.

Your AVG AntiTrack subscription is now active.

You can check your subscription details via SettingsActivation Keys.

Reactivate AVG AntiTrack

If your free trial has expired, click Reactivate and follow the on-screen instructions to purchase an AVG AntiTrack subscription.

Alternatively, if you already purchased a subscription, follow the steps below:

  1. If AVG AntiTrack is not already open, double-click the AVG AntiTrack icon on your Windows desktop to open the application.
  2. Go to MenuSettings.
  3. Click Activate under Your subscription status.
  4. Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens), and click Continue.
  5. Click Done.

Your AVG AntiTrack subscription is now active.

You can check your subscription details via MenuSettingsMy subscription status.

Troubleshooting

If you experience any activation issues:

  1. Ensure you have correctly entered your activation code, including hyphens.
  2. Use our webform or your AVG Account to retrieve a copy of your activation code, then try activating the subscription again.

In some cases, subscription synchronization may take up to 24 hours after purchase. If your subscription is still not active after this time, refer to the following article:
