duplicate file finder

How do I find the old AVG download to use the duplicate file finder? and do I uninstall the new one.  I only bought it for the duplicate file finder and disappointed its not here

Hello Anne,

The new version of AVG TuneUp for Windows doesn't have duplicate finder feature.
For Mac, the AVG TuneUp Premium program has this feature.
Development of old AVG TuneUp has been discontinued a few years ago because of software updates, operating systems and other applications , as all the software environment evolves.
New version of AVG TuneUp that you can see now has been developed. The product is more stable and fully compatible with the latest operating system and programs.
We are still working on the product and new features are being added to it, also based on customer inquiries and comments. Therefore we would appreciate your feedback.
We have sent an email to you on how to proceed with your AVG TuneUp subscription and how to get the old version installed.

I once bought AVG TuneUp because of the Turbo Boost mode and because of Duplicate Finder. Both were nice and useful features which I have used from time to time. Basically, your need to refactor the tool it's perfectly understandable. It's great to provide a more stable and future-proof software to your customers. But why did you push the new version out without core product features? Why no upfront announcements that the new version is offering limited functionality only? . I just have cancelled my long-term abo and will take my money to another vendor.

This isn't the experience we would like you to have. 

Yes, the Duplicate finder and Turbo Boost feature has been removed in the latest version of the AVG TuneUp. The new version is more stable than the old one.

However, we will consider this as a feedback and improve the features in the future updates.
