Sean M AVG Broken after Windows 10 Update 1803
PLEASE fix your program. I have had to reinstall AVG internet security FOUR times since upgrading to Windows 10 verison 1803. Two times the program has removed itself from my computer and two times the program has just become unresponsive and not working. As any other customer can see in this community support page, there is clearly a huge issue with AVG and Win 10 1803 compatibility as numerous repeated posts are complaining about the same exact issues. How long are you going to ignore the problem without issuing a fix????? Does your developer team own a computer??
This isn't the experience we want you to have and I apologize for the inconvenience. We request you to re-install AVG to fix this. Refer this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product to run AVG Clear and remover tool. Note: Run AVG Clear tool first.
After restart, go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders manually.
1. Type “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
2. “%temp%” and remove all the files.
3. %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
4. %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files.
5. Type C: and press enter, delete AVG remover folder.
