avg free edition

i am having problems with avg.i have free edition but I keep getting msg my subscription has run out I have trying repairing it changing it but still happening.i have used this for many years.do you not actually provide it free now

We do have AVG Antivirus Free version, we request you to uninstall and reinstall it to check if it works.

I have the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work. What do I do now?

I understand the inconvenience.
To be sure, have you used both AVG removal and Clear tool as mentioned (here) to remove AVG traces?
Did you click on "Run Anyway" during AVG removal tool process?

I've used the removal tool 7 or 8 times, and I keep getting the same screen calling for the removal of Web Tuneup. I know the instructions say several restarts may be necessasry, but is 7 or 8 times normally necessary? In other words should I keep trying or give up?

It is not necessary to perform restart 7 or 8 times.
Did you click on "Web TuneUp" and proceeded with the removal?
Did you use "AVG Clear tool"?
