how do I install AVG secure browser

I can find how to uninstall AVG Secure browser on windows 10, but nothing on how to INSTALL it. I've tried looking in Chrome Store for an extension searching for AVG and only find a shopping extension or something called EditThisCookie....please help

Hello Jan,

AVG Secure Browser can be installed along with AVG Internet Security/AntiVirus free.

This cannot be installed as a standalone product.

When you install AVG AntiVirus, this secure browser will get installed as a add on to your computer.

This is not entirely true. the secure browser did not install on my win 10 PC. I found a link for the secure browser on the AVG home page in the left most menu labeled "PC".  it is at the bottom

Lars, initially, AVG Secure browser wasn't released as a standalone application.
Later, we released the link in official https://www.avg.com/secure-browser site to download and install it.

Sorry to revive an old topic but: I found AVG Secure Browser was automatically installed with an AVG  application update, but without any option to NOT install it or whatever. After PC restart it kept popping up so I uninstalled it because I HATE software being forced upon me. I read about the browser afterwards and decided to give it a try anyway, then tried to install the 'standalone' version but it won't work 'there was an error installing AVG browser'. Checking for updates in my AVG anti virus doesn't work either. So how do I install the AVG browser alongside my AVG antivirus (free edition)?? I'm on a home built Intel i7 with 20GB of RAM and a GTX 760, running Win 7 64-bits and basically do everything myself, from building the computer to installing all the software, update drivers, block applications in firewall etc etc...

Thank you for sharing, Pjotr. You can install AVG Antivirus FREE and AVG Secure Browser as separate application.

You can use the below link to install AVG products: https://www.avg.com/en-us/installation-files

Never mind, it needed a reboot after uninstalling the previous unwanted install that came with the update.
