Hello, Aaron.
May I know if it is AVG Anti Virus or AVG Cleaner that you are trying to activate? We'd request you to uninstall the app, restart the device, reinstall the app and then try to login. If the issue persists, please provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the error message. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Aaron, please note that AVG Zen has been discontinued on Android platform and the only way to activate the Pro version of AVG apps is to login using your registered email address and password. Did you try to uninstall and re install the apps? Also, make sure that you are logged in to Google play store app with your registered email address.

Yes I've reinstalled apps and am logged into Google play store with my registered email. I've tried AVG PRO, AVG antivirus and AVG cleaner. All of these apps have the same issue.

We appreciate your efforts, Aaron.

I request you to follow the suggested steps once again and check with the status.

1) Uninstall all AVG apps installed in your device. To uninstall the AVG AntiVirus just follow these steps:

- go to your mobile device´s settings
- go to "Security"
- go to "Device administrators"
- uncheck/deactivate the "AVG AntiVirus"
- now go back to device´s settings
- go to "Apps" or "Application manager" (depends on the Android version)
- pick "AVG AntiVirus"
- uninstall "AVG AntiVirus

Repeat this procedure to uninstall any other AVG app.

2) Once you uninstall all AVG apps make sure the "AVG" account located in your "device´s settings - Accounts" disappeared. (this may differ based on os version and device type, examples: Settings - Cloud and Accounts - Accounts or Settings - Accounts)

Take a screenshot where is visible that AVG account is missing

3) Delete the device from your MyAVG account.

- log in to your My AVG Account - my.avg.com
- click on the device with the issues
- click on "Settings" button
- click on "Delete from account"

4) Re-install all AVG apps and sign back

This will fully reset the communication between the device and the portal. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
