This is NOT a question! It is real information!
I have had AVG IS 2018 for severel months and I have had some discussions with AVG under april-may about my Internet download speed with that program. I pay for 50 Mb/s down and 10 Mb/s up, but when I have tested the Internet download speed with "TPTEST" and "Speedtest" I mostly have about 25 Mb/s down.
AVG's support have looked into my computer and tested it, but they say that this program is OK, so the problem must be in my copmputer.
I did'nt accept that at all, so now I have uninstalled AVG IS 2018 and installed F-secure Safe 17.4.
Now is my Internet download speed OK!!!
I have tested it severel times and it is stable!
Normal test results now: 56.4 Mb/s down and 10.3 Mb/s up!
I recommend all people who use this AVG IS 2018 to test your internet speed with "TPTEST" and "Speedtest" and take a real look to your download speed!
I think you will be surprised!

Unfortunately I have uninstalled and deleted AVG IS 2018 from my computer, but I can give you some more information about the case:
When we had a discussion in April 2018 I let you look into my computer, but you couldn't find any problems with your program.
I also sent you speed tests and screen dumps, but your meaning was that the problem with my Internet download speed was in my computer.
I have used TPTEST and Speed Test!
I have tried to solve the problem myself by reinstall Windows 10 Prof but it doesn't helped (2 hours work)!
I have stopped all background programs but it doesn't helped!
I also found out that sometimes under 1-2 minutes I could have about 50 Mb/s down when I tested the Internet speed, and after that it was reduced to about 50%!
I think your latest program update was about 2018-06-20, but it doesn't helped either!
I have contacted my Internet company (COMHEM) about the problem with the Internet speed, but they couldn't find any problem with my modem!
I have also told you that in my laptop ACER (PC) I have Windows 10 Home and F-Secure, and here the Internet speed is OK (Wi-Fi)!
After all this disappointments I decided to skip your AVG IS2018 and install F-Secure, and now my Internet speed is OK!!!
My meaning about your program is that there is some problems with your Web Shield which slow down the Internet download speed, because up is now problem!
Before I installed your AVG IS 2018 I had AVG IS 2016, and with that program the internet speed was OK (down and up)!!!!!
I hope this information can help you to solve the problem with the download internet speed for AVG IS 2018!

That means I was right about the Internet reduction of speed for downloads with your AVG IS 2018, but you say that this problem was in my computer! How about that??!!
I propose you to find out how F-Secure SAFE have solved this problem, because they also have a type of "Web Shiled", but this is NOT slowing down the internet download speed!
If you can fix it for your program, it will be more competitive to other programs!
You can also find workarounds to improve the internet speed with AVG Web Shield enabled.

However, you can try connecting to different locations to identify the better server that provides better connectivity.
