Tony Polito Standalone/Offline Installer for AVG Antivirus Free, Windows XP version (18.x)
I would like to know if there is a standalone/offline installer of the version of AVG Antivirus Free 18.x that still supports Windows XP.
Based on searching these forums, I believe the last version to be 18.8.4084.409.
I have found the page at AVG.com that delivers the ONLINE installer. However I have to maintain certain devices that use software that will only run under Windows XP and they do not have any kind of Internet connectivity. However they are critical and I would like to keep them protected from situations such as USB drives and other manual file transfers and device connections that might contain malware.
I have searched through these forums and I have found several links to AVG sites that claim to provide such an offline installer, but when I download using them I either only get an online installer … or an offline installer where the Properties dialog box states it to be a 19.x version.
