Its now 3 days since my first contact with AVG regarding above ... Pardon me for thinking this VERY SERIOUS piece of false advertising has been put on the back burner >> or more to the point, totally ignored...
As a business operating to alleviate SCAMMERS >> perhaps AVG >> your company need to put its house in order...
Futhermore, I don't expect to have to wait until domesday for an answer, regarding your companies obvious and very wrong practice...

That's strange. Please be informed that there is no monthly subscription available for AVG products.
Could you share the screenshot of the window where you see the amount displayed for monthly subscription?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Accept its not actually taken monthly now but a yearly payment. However, how do you explain the attached two images....???

Who is this Digital River are they marking up on the actual costs or is your web site information wrong..???

I can only conclude with the LACK of reply to mail and website thread started 08/08/19 and further correspondence dated 10/08/19 >> extremely SHAMEFUL of your company … As I said previously, for a business operating to alleviate SCAMMERS >> one would have thought the decency of a reply would be the minimum response from AVG, which is operating a fairly obvious and dubious practice with their pricing structure >> as illustrated in the above screenshots…???
If I don’t get some reply to my complaint fairly soon… I will be left with no choice but to take this very obvious and disgraceful pricing practice to The Financial Ombudsman Service…
