Incomplete scanning

Whenever I choose to use the "computer scan" for a quick scan, the scan gets stuck at 75% of the browser scan not allowing the scan to move ahead to the malware and performance scans. I have tried the repair procedure and have uninstalled and reinstalled your product  all to no avail. I have run the deep scan which took over 4 hours to complete and came up clean. I tried the free version of Malwarebytes and that scan came up clean also. I am also subscribed to AVG tune-up but don't believe that should be an issue. Also, while trying to let this computer scan continually instead of stopping it, I noticed that this scan has disabled AVG virus protection as well as Windows defender. Appreciate your help, thanks!

Hello Edward,

The quick scan of AVG involves three process.
1) Browser Add-ons
2) Viruses & Malwares
3) Performance issues.
When you already have AVG TuneUp installed and activated, then performance scan shouldn't appear in quick scan that you initiate from AVG Internet Security.
Could you share the screenshot of scan window that stuck at 75%?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
The timeframe for AVG deep scan depends on the number of files present on your hard drive.
Since it does thorough scanning, the time taken for it will always be quite high.

Sorry, you were right about performance my mistake. Third scan was advanced issues.     User-added image
