Tony Rolfe AVG ULTIMATE
I ungraded to AVG Ultimate on my main laptopa while ago now. No problems and still works correctly.
My wife had been using the free version. I uninstalled this and installed Ultimate as it covers all my units.
However, within 2 days it reverted to the free version and tuneup stopped working. I repeated the process of uninstall and reinstalled Ultimate. The free version reinstalls again within minutes.
I have the latest W10 installed.
Can anyone help please.

It looks like the AVG apps are awaiting activation. Click this link for steps to activate paid version of AVG Internet Security. Refer to steps in this link to activate AVG TuneUp.

You should try activating AVG tuneup from its settings.
Refer this article and perform the activation for AVG TuneUp and use the same code.
