CSRSS.EXE Trojan?

This morning my Amazon account stopped working and online saying could not download necessary drivers producing a network error. Chat with Amazon tech revealed that the log file was full of CSRSS.EXE attempts to perform network operations. Tech stated that it was a CSRSS.EXE trojan virus and all of my networked systems were corrupt. For a fee and switching to McAfee the problem could be solved. I researched and found out that the file is in its proper location in the Windows 10 system 32 directory and has the proper authentication ID consistent with microsoft most recent updated file. Why did AVG not catch this as it is slowly stopping files from running in several directories. What can I do about it?

Hi Henry.
Thank you for reaching us here.
The csrss.exe process is an important part of the Windows operating system. The legitimate csrss.exe file is located in the C:\Windows\system32 directory on your system. If someone told you that the csrss.exe file located in C:\Windows\System32 is a virus, that’s a hoax.
